David's business experience spans 35 years of starting, building and selling his own businesses in office equipment, corporate barter and commercial finance broking. David and Mark met through their mutual membership of a business network. In November 2009, Full Power totalled 4 people and David was invited into a consultancy position at Full Power to structure the sales and marketing functions, starting in January 2010. He assumed responsibility for sales, marketing and strategy, changed the direction of the business away from cold calling (which was soon terminated completely) towards both consultancy and referral only marketing and simultaneously created and developed the UK-wide network of introducers to generate high quality referral business. In July of 2010 David took a full equity partnership and directorship in Full Power and with the business now generating almost all of its business from referrals, this accelerated expansion and produced high retention rates. After 18 months at Full Power and with rapid growth under way, he started bringing in administrators to support sales and the talented team that has become Full Power today, began to take shape. David assumed responsibility for compliance, TPI relationships and legal aspects. Following near ten-fold expansion from 2010-17, and to facilitate further strategic growth, David was instrumental in bringing in Paul Smith in January 2018 and David subsequently stood back from operational involvement in January 2019. He remains project focused in business generation and retains a seat on the board.
