Full Power Utilities
Full Power Story

Specialising in energy procurement and energy solutions for all your business requirements

How it all began...

Maintaining their belief in doing the very best for their clients, the 3 Directors have built Full Power Utilities into the Premier Brokerage it is today, earning the respect of the energy industry and the loyalty of the company's valued clients. Mark, Dawn and David, continue to follow their passion of networking in business and raising the profile of Full Power Utilities within the industry and beyond.
Mark Lipman
Mark Lipman
Mark launched Full Power Utilities in November 1997 after spending over 2 years in the industry working for other brokers and suppliers. With over 20 years sales and marketing experience in various business sectors, he saw an opportunity to get in at the start of the commercial energy explosion. Joined by his wife and fellow Director and shareholder Dawn in 2002, two sales brokers in 2008/9 and a 3rd Director/shareholder (David Cooper) in 2010, the company kept on recruiting sales brokers and admin’ staff. This has resulted in the business growing from strength to strength and today with a staff of 25, we are still expanding and proud to be recognised as a ‘Premier’ broker servicing many business types, from SME to I & C. Mark’s interests outside of work, include tennis (both watching and playing) and extensive travel.
Dawn Lipman
Dawn Lipman
Dawn came from a legal background, working as a P.A. for several top London lawyers until she joined Full Power Utilities in 2002. Dawn looks after the admin’ team and is also responsible for the implementation of systems and processes and keeps a watchful eye over the operational side of Full Power.   Dawn has been influential in the hiring of staff and her claim to fame within the business, is that it was her who came up with our company name.  Dawn enjoys walking, spinning and travelling.
David Cooper
David Cooper
David has a business background of 30 years’ experience of starting, building and selling his own businesses in office equipment, corporate barter and commercial finance broking. A serial entrepreneur, David had known Mark Lipman through 6 years of membership of a business network.  When, twelve years after inception, Full Power had become 5 people (late 2009), David was asked to take a consultancy for 6 months to structure the sales and marketing functions, beginning in January 2010.  This resulted in him taking a full equity partnership and Directorship in July 2010.

David enrolled and trained sales brokers, changed the direction of the business to consultancy and away from outbound sales towards referral only marketing and 2 years later started bringing in administrators to support sales. David simultaneously developed a UK-wide network of affiliates and introducers generating business.  The results were year on year of consistently rapid growth in the company and near ten-fold expansion. Full Power no longer cold calls, generates all its business from referrals including high renewal rates with the stable and mature team now at 25 people and still recruiting quality staff at every opportunity.
